Step 1: scan the management vial
Point the crosshair at the code on the vial of the management tag.
Step 2: give the official tag number
Tap the number box, then tap Scan Text (the camera-text icon above the keyboard, or in the pop-up menu). Point the camera at the number on the tag, then tap Insert.
The herd mark is filled in. Type the last 6 digits from the tag (check digit and number), or scan the official tag's vial.
Point the crosshair at the code on the vial. It scans automatically.
